- The Network Diagram was developed as part of the coursework for MEDT 6467.
- The network diagram project allowed me to ensure that the technology in our school is organized according to standard accepted practice. This demonstrates the AASL Standard 4.1 Managing Information Resources.
- I was able to demonstrate the AASL Standard 4.1 Managing Program Resources while creating the network diagram. The proposals for changes in the current network were based on need and considered financial aspects of the proposed budget. One of the missions of the school is to educate students to be responsible users of technology. In order to fulfill this goal, we must look for better ways to deliver instruction, including the analysis of the current network and technology situation.
- Along with the school's technician, I am able to make decisions about the network and equipment and thus influence effective transformational systemic change. I can show flexibility and strategic planning by the use of the proposed diagram of needed additional components to the network. Both of these demonstrate the components from the UWG CoE Conceptual Framework. The components are Decision Maker and Adaptive.
