- The Materials Order was developed as part of the coursework for MEDT 6465.
- The Materials Order allowed me to demonstrate the AASL Standard 4.2 Managing Program Resources. As part of the course work I examined the collection by doing an analysis of existing materials. I was able to create an order for materials based on the need at my school. After examining the collection and researching the policy and procedures that support the mission of the school, I found that the materials order I generated allowed me to address the specific needs of our library media program.
- The Materials order also allowed me to be a Decision Maker and also show the quality of Adaptive as prescribed by the UWG CoE Conceptual Framework. I showed that I was able to make decisions based on the needs of the patrons as well as be adaptive because I demonstrated flexibility and strategic planning for the needs of my media center.
