Dewey Decimal Classification PowerPoint
  • The Dewey Decimal Classification PowerPoint was developed as part of the coursework for MEDT 6463.
  • The Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) PowerPoint demonstrates the AASL Standard 2.3 Information Literacy. The presentation focuses on the DDC and how students can use this information to help them to locate and evaluate information.
  • AASL Standard 4.1, Managing Information Resources: Selecting, Organizing, Using is closely related. I was able to select, analyze, and evaluate print, nonprint and electronic resources for use in the presentation. I planned for the efficient use of resources and technology to meet diverse user needs.
  • The UWG CoE Conceptual Framework characteristics of Decision Maker, Adaptive, and Knowledgeable are also demonstrated in this powerpoint presentation for students. Decisions about the presentation were made according to my knowledge of the curriculum and adaptive to the needs of my students.
