Join our team and help us collect trash! Yes, we are collecting trash to send to Terracycle in order to raise money for our media center as well as help save the earth by not polluting! TerraCycle, Capri Sun and Honest Kids are working together to put an end to this awful loss of resources. As an eco-friendly innovator, TerraCycle converts the drink pouch material into unique fashion bags, tote bags, pencil cases, and other items for kids and adults! TerraCycle is proud to team up with the largest producer of drink pouches in the country, Capri Sun, and a young organic entry into the market, Honest Kids, to help address this problem! Together with your help we CAN make a difference! You can start colleting drink pouches because we have already signed up for this brigade! We will need to collect 500 pouches in order to send off a shipment. TerraCycle will pay .02 per drink pouch to our Media Center. Please do not send the plastic insert, just the outside wrapper.   Return to list Chip Bag Brigade We collect any brand or size of chip bag. Please take out all the crumbs you can!   Return to list Bear Naked Brigade We accept any size Bear Naked® granola bag or wrapper. Please keep in mind that we receive $0.02 for all Bear Naked packaging.   Return to list Kashi Package Brigade We accept Kashi® packaging only. The following types of Kashi packaging are acceptable: Cardboard packaging, granola wrappers, etc. Please keep in mind that we receive $0.02 for all Kashi packaging.   Return to list Scotch Tape Brigade We accept any brand and any size plastic tape dispensers and cores.   Return to list Writing Instruments Brigade We accept any brand and any size pen, pencils, mechanical pencils, markers and highlighters. No wooden pencils, please.   Return to list   Elmer's Glue Crew Brigade Only Elmer’s! We accept any size Elmer’s brand glue sticks and plastic glue bottles.   Return to list Lunch Kit Brigade We accept any brand and any size lunch kit packaging. We will accept all parts of the lunch kit, excluding the cardboard.   Return to list Colgate Oral Care Brigade We accept any brand used toothpaste tubes, toothbrushes and plastic toothbrush packaging, excluding cardboard.   Return to list   Cell Phone Brigade We will accept any brand and size used cell phone; no house/portable phones, phone chargers or loose batteries are accepted through this program.
