~ Spelling ~

JPES 2nd Grade Spelling and Vocabulary List - This link has the spelling list for the entire year. Included are the patterns for the week as well as the vocabulary words that go with the reading series. Students are responsible for 5 new spelling words each week as well as the pattern words that can be made from the words as indicated. As the year progresses, students will be asked review spelling words and patterns on weekly spelling tests. These are usually given on Friday unless Friday is a holiday.

Spell Check This site gives you 4 words. You have to pick out the word that is spelled incorrectly and then type in the correct spelling.

Spellbound - You are given a word and then it is scrambled. You have to click and drag the letters to the correct place.

Spelling Time - Have fun playing games with our own spelling word from 2nd Grade at Jefferson Parkway. FUN!!!!!!!

~ Sentences ~

Kidz Word Magnets use the word magnets to create sentences, You may add other words by shift clicking on the magnet board and typing the word you need. Pretty cool!
