Cupcake Sales Raise Money for School$

The Jefferson Parkway community was stunned when cupcakes sales went through the roof! Teachers were amazed that kids could eat so much sugar and still have teeth. The rest of the world was amazed at the fact that so much money was raised just by selling cupcakes at lunch for .50 each! The principal was contacted but unavailable to talk to reporters. Mrs. Clara Gaitan stated that the principal was tied up in meetings all day because of the tremendous increase in the school budget. This little cupcake sale raised over one BILLION dollars for the school. "Not only will we be able to purchase books for the library but we will now be able to purchase books, computers and iPads for every student. Now THAT'S exciting!" said Mrs. Mary Dean, the school's media specialist. Playground equipement will be replaced, grass will be planted, parking spaces will be added to the front and sides of the school, Apple Computers will be added to each classroom, media center, and 2 labs, as well as an iPad for each teacher and student!
